January 5, 2017 - A(ccuracy)=2: Medium ruby with orange tint; firm, focused Gamay nose.
B(alance) =3: At peak of resolution; perhaps at the expense of some vibrancy.
C(omplexity)=1: Straightforward and unpretentious.
D(epth) = 1 : Even and smooth, with just a touch of appetizingly tart finish.

December 1, 2014 - Moderately translucent and rather pale cherry red color. Somewhat restrained, light and a bit earthy nose with aromas of ripe cherries, some raspberry-driven sweet red fruits, a little bit of wild strawberry and a subtle hint of funk. The wine is medium-bodied, dry and very acid-driven on the palate with flavors of tart cranberries, sour cherry bitterness, some savory spice, a little bit of sweeter ripe fruit tones and a hint of earthiness. The wine feels balanced with its light and gently grippy tannins and high acidity. The finish is quite long, pretty acid-driven and crunchy with pure flavors of tart cranberries, stony minerality, some herbal bitterness and a hint of sour cherries.
A nice, a bit one-dimensional but also quite classic Bojo with enjoyable crunchy fruit. Not really a Gamay to remember, but works tremendously well as a straightforward everyday food wine. Might hold for some years because of the high acidity, but I doubt there is much room for further development in the fruit, so I really see no point in keeping this any longer. Good value at 13,98€. -

April 9, 2014 - Bouchard Pere Tasting (Ultimo wines basement room): mild black cherry, slight candy floss, , clean but with tiny sulphur notes. In the mouth the wine has medium plus aid, is juicy with back and red cherry fruit, cheek gripping tannin. Nice and eminently quaffable
