  February 5, 2022 - Opened and decanted 2 hours. Singing in perfect balance. Returned half the bottle and left it standing corked on the counter. Revisited 2 days later and it had not changed appreciably. Still singing. No rush

  September 9, 2016 - Densely packed Barbaresco. It opened with a lot of tarriness, then closed up aromatically. Not really closed down on the palate though, because there's plenty of material in the foreground and the structure mostly buried, only thing is that material stayed pretty taut while continually hinting it would start to unfurl. Still, this seems to be developing nicely as it still has a relatively youthful ruby hue, very good freshness and up-front sweetness for its age, and already has transcended its structure. It's just not there yet.

  July 19, 2015 - Drank really nice when first opened. It did open up after an hour. more leather and tar than tart cherries but the fruit that was there balanced. Great balance in the mouth and long finish. More body than I expected.
