April 15, 2021 - Opened but did not need to decant. Paired with balsamic grilled pork loin off the grill. Dark purple color. Nose brings fresh eucalyptus, mint, thyme, cassis, blackcurrant, and cherry cobbler. The palate is medium-full, round, dense, and juicy, bringing deep blackberries, blueberries, chocolate cherries, espresso roast, toasty oak, cinnamon, and tangy raspberries into a dry finish. Drink 2021-2028. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 91.

March 6, 2021 - Opened 2 hours ahead. Dark fruits, spice and a touch of herbs on the nose. Medium bodied with pretty dark fruit, earth and some graphite along with smooth and silky tannins. Very Bordeaux-like profile which I like. Not quite up to a 2010 we had last week but closer than I expected. Mature but should hold for a few years. 91 points today.

August 23, 2020 - A quality sipper belaying an 'off' vintage, dark garnet colored, medium-full bodied, bright vibrant ripe blackberry and black raspberry fruits, hints of cassis offset the slight herbal and vegetable notes found in so many of the Napa 2011's, only slightly detracting from the Bordeaux Blend.

December 24, 2018 - Dense color, generous mouth feel, approachable soon after pulling the cork, benefited from some time in the glass. Ripe dark fruit flavors. Nice.
