August 25, 2017 - PnP through Aervana. Opens quickly, with roasted meat, cigar box and light pepper notes. Surprisingly, it's not heavy at all, and a quite quaffable wine. Drank without food on day 1, nothing lost going into day 2 and paired well with Lemony Chicken Milanese.

July 4, 2017 - Double decanted and drank right away; minimal sediment. Nice ripe black and some red and blue fruit nose with a bit of barrel spice. Palate follows through with tannins in check and worked well with and without food. Drink now. Good QPR

April 3, 2017 - I had this with a cheese plate on 4/3/17. It had deep, rich and very inviting bouquet of black currant, plum, raspberry, cocoa, mocha, smoked meat and spice aromas. The palate was rich, dense and elegant with flavors of black currant, black cherry, plum, burnt toast, mocha, cocoa, black pepper, herb and spice. 91+

February 22, 2017 - Big and juicy, but I think I opened it too soon. Should be perfect in 12-18 months. Notes of dark chocolate only just starting to appear

January 30, 2017 - Cherry and black raspberry. Too much for prom chops.
