July 18, 2012 - Did not decant, popped and poured. Let it sit on the glass for 10 minutes and starts to open up. Not much fruit left. Spices, toasty oak and a bit of leather. In the back end a tad of bitter. The wine is at the end of it's run. I would drink up now. It did had a lot of sediment at the end of the bottle so be careful with the last pours, enjoy!

July 7, 2012 - Popped and poured. Nose was a little musty at the open, but that blew off after about 15 minutes in the glass. Color is deep purple and clear, with no signs of bricking. Twenty years in bottle have given this wine a softness on the palate that is quite pleasing, with red berries and hints of tar that flood the palate, giving way to elegant, rounded tannis and a medium finish. Properly stored, I'd say this wine still has a few years left on it before it fades, but I don't think it has enough structure remaining to be a thirty year wine.

June 15, 2012 - Nice nose of oak, leather and a little bit of dark fruits left. A bit of the same on the palate. Fruit is pretty much gone but still a really nice aged cab. Very smooth and medium finish. Drink up.
