December 19, 2022 - had this a few nights ago... probably drank it ten years ago...back then it had cool unique gimmicky bottling under cork now its one of the only proseccos under a screwcap...yes prosecco screwcap and it shows...the texture kinda real but there is something astringent and the dosage is overt
December 20, 2021 - Light, simple and just delicious. Exactly what I want in a Prosecco
December 7, 2020 - Good flavor. Mild bubbles. Not much fizz. Prefer Spago Nero.
November 7, 2020 - Cracked it open to celebrate Biden victory--appropriately since he had no coattails and neither did the wine.
June 24, 2020 - Smell turned me off a little. Maybe pear and cucumber. It got a little better, or I got used to it, as we drank. Best in Aperol Spritz Ok for $10 in a pinch but not searching this out.
June 19, 2020 - Pale lemon color. Little to nothing on the nose. The faintest hint of something vaguely peachy-floral, but also vaguely chemical. Not promising. Gah—terrible on the palate. Very artificial/chemical, with a sort of sickly fruit-cocktail-syrup taste, but worse. I always wondered if this wine was halfway decent, and now I know. Never again.
January 19, 2020 - Aperitif before the 2020 cassoulet fiasco. Sweetish finish I didn't care for.
August 3, 2019 - Have had many bottles of this over the last 2-3 years. Always hits the perfect level of lightness, low effervescence (is Frizzante not Spumante style so only needs screw cap not champagne cork & cage), and taste. Doesn't have the heavier fizz and more intense flavor of most champagnes so is perfect for warm weather. Love it. Label has "Cuvee 18" and "Frizzante" unlike some of the associated images here.
October 10, 2018 - Well that smells smokey. Green apple on the palate, crisp, frisky, dullled by its RS. At $12 its just ok.
September 4, 2017 - Decent brunch bubbles.
