March 23, 2024 - Really elegant, smooth but also somehow intense. Red cherries, baking spice and some savory notes. Really long finish. Really lovely bottle.

June 13, 2021 - stemmy on the nose with juicy red bitter fruit on the palate. showing complex and overall young. savory elements also appreciated. i think with time this could really blossom

January 24, 2021 - One whiff and you can tell this was vinified with considerable stems.
nose-darker spectrum fruits, coffee, baking spice, and celery

mouth - impressive vinosity. there is a savory element to the dark fruit that is undeniably delicious. while there is impressive stuffing and power, the very fine grained tannins make me regard it as quite an elegant wine. if you can keep your hands off this, due to stem inclusion, i suspect over time it will develop impressive complexity. Hold

December 23, 2020 - Les petits monts is an incredible terroir, just above les Richebourg. The main difference is the slope, the stones and the coldness of the site which tends to lend less power. and mre tension..but in a warm year like 2012, all this becomes an advantage. The wine has a very pure, spicy nose, incredibly kaleidoscopic in its complexity. The mouth is of restrained power, yet silky, suave and spicy, with a delicious and very long mounting aftertasteas if it was time programmed to implode from within. The wine was decanted 6 hours before drinking, and it is a bit young, but accessible and will be ready in 5 years and will hold 20. Chapeau Mounir !
