    July 28, 2019 - This is syrup outstanding Chardonnay by any measure. A bottle I opened a few weeks ago was cloudy which worried me a little but it tasted great. This one was not and was one of the best California Chardonnays I have ever drink. Long with a combination of citrus and tropical fruits; drinking wonderfully now. Terrific.

    June 29, 2019 - Occasional dinner group; Best bottles in white and red. (@ Bottles; Sas van Gent, Netherlands): Beautiful aromatic bouquet with good vanilla from the oak. On the palate vanilla, tropical fruits, a bit fat and a bit sweet. Good acidity, bitterness and length. Beautiful and complex wine.

    March 6, 2019 - This is a terrific wine. When I first poured the wine it was a little cloudy and I wondered if I had left it too long before tasting it. No need to worry as it turned out. As smooth as silk with citrus, mineralogy and something close to butterscotch all present. I’d be inclined to drink this sooner rather than later but I could easily be wrong about that.

    February 27, 2019 - Cloudy in glass and viscous. The aromas are all golden yellow apple like a Lodi Apple. The in mouth feel is dried, crisp and with flavors which are far more lemon citrus than I would ever imagined. Palette starts as lemon and initially tangy and then quickly sweet golden yellow apple emerges.

    The finish goes on and on and lingers with lemon, more apple, some dried mango and then again lemon peel.

    An awesome expression of a new modern Chardonnay. Less butter, less creamy and doses of minerality which are very much present. The most French styled white Bordeaux I have found in Napa.

    June 29, 2018 - This was a crazy chardonnay. Popped to a nose that had a lot of things going on....kiwi, mango, and even some buttered popcorn. On the palate, the mouthfeel of this wine is rather soft and weighty. Mango, melon, kiwi, and butter undertones kind of all danced around here. Middle and finish is where this one started to 'thin out' but wow, there was nothing thin about this one. This wine is a butt-kicker and, dare I say, easily in the top 5 for Cali Chard for me.
