October 1, 2022 - These '08 Stormy Weathers continue to amaze. Still big and bold with lots of depth. Black currants, blackberries, dark chocolate, spice box, oak. Long finish. Have 2 more bottles to consume over next 5 years.

December 20, 2021 - Popped and poured with a friend who thought it was the best wine she had ever had. A perfect balance of fruit and tannins, velvet on the palate. I believe it was my 2021 woty and I really wish I had bought much more of it.

April 20, 2020 - So good! So big! So dark! Dark fruit, caramel, cedar, even a bit of creaminess. Have held this in my cellar for years after a San Francisco Vintners Market. Good balance of tannins, acidity, and a long finish. Wish I had bought more.

February 16, 2020 - The standout in a blind tasting of high quality Cabernets from around the globe ex-France. This was all power, grace and a mile long finish. Not much more to add to the other recent TNs. Thanks Darren - great showing.
