January 13, 2020 - I just had a glass of the 2009, and not surprisingly given the vintages, this wine has another gear or three to it.

Pristine nose with ripe cherry and menthol. Nice length on the finish, and good acidity. This wine has another decade of development in front of it at a minimum, but is still pretty damn tasty at this point as well.

November 25, 2019 - After a couple of hours of air, this was excellent. Starting to show some tertiary notes. Filled out in the middle with air. This is why you cellar Chianti! Sweet red cherry fruit. Sous bois. Dry. Damp earth. Long finish. Time to drink these.

October 22, 2019 - Very tasty. Supple and balanced deep black cherry with nice acidity to keep an edge on the fruit. Moderate expressive nose, with a lovely palate that was very alive. Quite enjoyable.

September 24, 2019 - sour cherry on nose and a good amount of dirt. sweet tannins and prevalent acidty meld into more dusty cherries along with black tea notes. Touches of other honey in there. Rather complex for the money and with 30 minutes air drinking very nice.

September 13, 2019 - Really nice - sweet & sour cherry and menthol on the nose, and nicely expansive on the palate, with good acidity and persistence. Just a nip of unresolved tannin on the finish, but this is quite good.
