January 9, 2021 - On the richer side for Folatières, showing ripe apple and baked apple throughout, yet firmly textured middle forward, with good+ length. In its peak drinking window,

August 8, 2020 - Ravinia at Home (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Tasted two days ago, note is from memory. Starts out very rich like many 2012s but structure and brightness quickly emerge. Very good right now.

November 6, 2019 - This wine is stunning right now. The acid has finally taken a step forward as the fruit has receded. The nose is white burgundy. I LOVE Pernot. This is a wine on the way up. Fabulous!

August 4, 2019 - Stunning yellow color. Peaches and orchard fruit aromas. More orchard fruit and a wonderful inner mouth florality. Clean, pure and long. Lovely on a summer night.

September 30, 2018 - I haven't had this wine in several years, and wow, I am enjoying it so much more now vs release. Peach cobbler on nose and palate with faint mint, sweet licorice and floral charm. Very good density and length. Showing the ripeness of 2012, but with balance. Very good now, probably best to enjoy through 2024 or so.
