September 5, 2023 - Magical and phenomenal! Based on the professional reviews, I didn't expect too much from this aged bottle. I surprised us with its great power and beautiful expression of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Drank over two days with the second one the best.

April 19, 2020 - Absolutely wonderful. Smooth with the tannins well mellowed. Good fruit and complexity.

February 3, 2020 - Black fruits, smoke and earth. Smooth full body. Balanced with integrated tannins and long finish. Best with long decant. Improving each year with years to go.

January 18, 2020 - This was even better than my taste last time 2 years ago. Similar profile but the pure depth of fruit meat and smoke in the body is perfectly balanced with mild tannins and solid acidity. 2 bottles left will enjoy one more by 2021 and then forget the last to see what it does at maturity.

Really happy I stumbled into Paso 10 years ago. What a gem Torrin is.

September 15, 2019 - Dark purple. Big nose of black fruits, grilled meat, and loamy soil. Many balanced layers of blackberries, blueberry, black cherry and tea. Smooth and long. Neither tart nor flabby. Did not overpower the grilled veal chop.

December 5, 2017 - These wines are built to age and seem to improve/emerge each day, month and year with greater complexity, arousing flavors and depth. It is really drinking well now, and I’m contemplating what it might show over the next 5 - 10 years.
