March 4, 2014 - The 2009 Domaine Rossignol-Cornu Volnay is medium ruby in colour with a slight, light garnet rim. There's a sweet, gentle nose of bright red fruits, fresh red crushed currants and bright thin-skinned berries.
On the palate, there's an entry of cranberry juice and sweet red currants. Pretty straightforward but pretty balanced and very quaffable. No complains there indeed.
