October 22, 2021 - High acid. Not much fruit. Not a Pinot fan but wanted to try an aged Pinot.

October 19, 2021 - Powerful and nuanced, decent tannin and fruit. Full body, and full of energy. Dark fruit, sappy fruit, green herbs, and some floral notes on the finish. Softer than the last bottle, less pine needle and Barbaresco feel, less cherry medicine. Nose matched the mouth. Still primary, still on the younger side of the hill. Well made, glad I have more tucked away.

September 27, 2021 - Not sure if it was flawed, old, or just not my style, but this was an overripe, over concentrated mess.

September 23, 2021 - This leans far more towards Burgundy, with medium+ acidity and earthy, loamy scents towards the forefront, with floral and baking spice hints accompanying concentrated cranberry and cherry fruit. No hints of underripeness, though - just delicious high-quality Pinot that resonates on the palate for 30 seconds or more. Contrary to a recent note, this took 2 hours to open up - it has life ahead.

September 2, 2021 - Drink up. This beauty does start to show its age after a couple of hours of air exposure. But what a pleasure to drink!
