August 12, 2016 - Still good but I should have drank it a long time ago. Bottle lost in the pile of rosés I bought.

July 16, 2014 - Two shepherds (at the winery, with the Shepherd): the best rose I had in California, tasting wines for a week. no sweet fruit, just very refreshing, bone dry and interesting wine. It danced around my palate in a way that somehow made me think of Al Pacino and Gabrielle Anwar doing the tango at the Pierre, in "Scent of a woman". In my world, no higher praise is necessary.

June 4, 2014 - Rhone Rangers DC (Longview Gallery - Washington, DC): A unique and special wine from a 100-year-old vineyard in Mendocino, I love it. Smells of olive oil, strawberry greens, tangerine and melon peel. Juicy, tangy, mineral-driven, with white cherry and tart strawberries, lots of tea and herbal-spice tones. Beautiful. Fermented on the skins with native yeasts and aged seven months in old oak.
