April 8, 2023 - Aged very well, still some tannin and acid. Mild decrease in color, slight red brick hue. Mild-moderate oxidation with fruit preserves, dried fruit and savory notes as the primary flavors.

April 18, 2021 - Nose of leather, dried cherries, white pepper, blackberry jam, with a hint of vanilla. The wine is smooth on the finish with soft tannins. It is well put together; yet, there is still a pronounced alcohol finish that makes me take a few points away from the rating of an otherwise very good wine.
