September 29, 2019 - Seems to be at full stride. Not sure why the drinking window was less than fifteen years; however, this is far from fading. Well balanced, with dry red fruits, well integrated tannins, and persistent acidity. Seems to have enough stuffing to last another 2-5 years.

November 29, 2015 - We had our Thanksgiving turkey this evening. The wine paired well with the turkey and stuffing. Blackberry, cassis, cherry, some cedar, and herbs. Nice structure and fruit. I like the wine better today.

December 18, 2013 - Better on the nose than the palate with its earthy, black raspberry and cherry tones. Medium bodied, with a cherry filled finish, this is offering all of its pleasure today. I'd opt to drink this sooner than later.

December 4, 2013 - Blackberry, cassis, cherry, some cedar, and some herbs. Not quite as dusty and earthy, as last time. A very slight acidic sting on the tongue from some unresolved tannin. Good fruit and structure. A medium to short finish. Seemed to have slightly more intense fruit this time. Nice with turkey leftovers.

May 2, 2012 - Jammy plum and cherries, minerality and earth come through, but with a medium body and having reached maturity at an early age, I’d consume this St. Emilion on the young side.
