  February 9, 2018 - Not a fan of Nero d'avola, and found this a bit.. thin and still acidic after 8 years. But a fine all around wine when decanted.

  February 24, 2015 - ABV 13.5; Hall's mentho lyptus lozenges to start; calms down to reveal some ripe strawberry fruit, menthol, good acidity and balance. More interesting than enjoyable.

  December 19, 2014 - Volcanic soil and aged in oak. A bit of limestone on the property. Nero and frapatto. Not as fun, more serious than frapatto

  December 10, 2014 - My first of this DOCG and a pleasent surprise. The Frappato component adds a fresh and acidic cherry-like component to the more dark berry Nero d'Avola. Medium bodied. Hints of lingon berries. I found it substantially better when it was slightly chilled 16-17 degrees c.
