January 6, 2021 - Had a 375, so make of it what you will, but think this is likely premoxed or maybe over the hill. Cork intact, good fill, color didn’t show much oxidation (no browning), and was well stored, so premox seems unlikely, though tasting it made me think premox.

Had sherry and vinegar notes on the nose, fruit is mostly gone, a bit of sour cherry on the palate. Very acidic. Bummer.

April 12, 2014 - Deep ruby. Minerally inflected nose of quite dark berries and some animal notes. Nice, pretty juicy mouthfeel with good substance. A bit short and one-dimensional, but definitely charming.

December 31, 2013 - Glorious Vosne nose, moderate grip, adequate finish. Goes tinny after 30 minutes, then re-emerges after another 30 to make a very superior lieu-dit & worthy companion to the 1999. Fully ready to go with a 1-2 hour decant.

November 2, 2013 - A very nice, well balanced, easy to drink Burg. I think this is in the sweet spot right now. I can't wait to open another bottle. No specific notes taken, sorry, just enjoyed the mine. YUM!

It needed about 30 minutes before it started to open up. Did not decant.

December 3, 2012 - Finally this wine is getting around and all strings pulling the same way.
    Fresh, clear cool Pinot.
Not at all a big wine, but intense. and tannins more evolved and integrated.
Lovely smell of wild strawberries and slightly humus, wet mold.
    decent length and
In the mouth, velvety and intense with some wooden hints in the background.
Drunk with turkey, waldorf and oven baked potatoes

November 18, 2012 - Clean and pretty Pinot aromas. Fruity and clean in the mouth with cherry and some oak. Good intensity and quite long finish.

March 20, 2010 - Drank with roasted Liveche chicken.
Poured into decanter at 18, dinner start at 20.
First impression, Thin, closed, deluted and watery. high sharp acidity.
At dinnerstart, it has started to grow and develop. at this stage it is very nice with the food. During next two hours the colour gets a shade of darkness, the smell is lively, flowery with odours of the essence of wild red berries carried of small wet wild dark animals.
In the mouth very well integraded fruitcore with the acidity and subtle use of french toast.
Again, a wine that needs a lot of time in open air.

August 14, 2009 - De foregående flaskene har vært noe utilgjengelige, men denne var absolutt brukbar. Men - fremdeles best på duft.

June 20, 2009 - Good, austere style with nose of wild-strawberries and redcurrant. Not very tannic and probably at its peak now.
