July 31, 2023 - Had my last bottle of the 2000 vintage - fantastic Sangiovese by Giacomo Neri in its perfect drinking window and not at the end of its life.
Very smooth, silky tannins balance the acidity very well - delicious fruity notes with some dark chocolate at the long finish.
Unfortunately, very hard to get.
Stocked up my cellar with 2013 and 2016 vintages - both in their infancy. -

December 11, 2021 - Took a few hours to develop. Decanting a must. Heavy sediment. This was a deep, intense, brooding, earthy, musty (in a good way), leathery brunello. Fruit is more background but lingers on the incredibly long finish. Just sublime with prime ribeye in simple herb rub and matsutake sautée. Wow.

Opravdu velké množství sedimentu.
Na jazyku velmi výrazná třislovina, hebké až medové (nikoli chuť).
Vůně velmi špatná - hodně stařiny, která ale v chuti nepřevládla. -

September 12, 2019 - Pretty darn good. Dark in color. Seems polished from the new oak used here.
