March 28, 2020 - Absolutely lovely. Cabernet/ Bordeaux blend. Chocolate leather and plenty of aged fruits. Almost bold in a mature wine way. Still plenty of acidity. Imaging there is five to seven more years Found in a hidden corner of my cellar. In a few years I’ll search for another.

December 22, 2015 - A little bit of a let down. The first hour showed a closed wine with medium body and muted fruit flavors. Took over 2 hours to open and probably required 6 more. Wonderful aromas and smooth mouth feel.

May 29, 2014 - dark red, in color. cranberry, dried fruit, blackberry, licorice, pepper, oak, on the nose. medium acid, medium-high tannins, on the finish.
May 29, 2014 - 1999 Cabernet Retrospective, Part 4 (Tasted Blind) (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Very good nose, some heat (B+). Excellent palate, but likely past its prime (B+/B++).

March 22, 2014 - Really enjoyed this wine. Took a surprisingly long time to open up and smooth out but once it did, it was great. Fruit and some almost salt-air notes in the nose. Currant and white pepper tones with enough earth to tie them together.
December 16, 2013 - Took a minute to get going, but came on like a cruise ship, big beautiful, with all the comforts of home.
March 4, 2012 - Had this wine at School fund raiser so the completion was not great. This wine however is drinking at its prime. At $60 a bottle this wine is a steal. Buy , buy, buy - I just bought a case. Wine evolves over half an hour or so. This is a buy a drink wine. A pure present value trade
December 11, 2011 - Meritage blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Cameron Vineyard above the Napa Valley Silverado Trail and Cabernet Sauvignon from Stagecoach Vineyards above Oakville, and Merlot from Feingold Vineyard just over the hill to the west in Sonoma. Medium to full bodied with black raspberry, black berry, coffee and kirsch flavors highlighted by a layer of leather, tea and hint of caramel, mocha and touch of spice on a moderate tannin finish
