December 2, 2023 - Very nice wine and absolutely ready to drink now. Fresh and full of fruit. Red cherry, red currant, cassis, blackberry. Pencil shavings and cedar. Well integrated tannins make this a smooth wine. However, the 15.5% alcohol are not neglectable. The wine will keep this level for another 5 years.

October 29, 2023 - Beautifully tempered. Tannins are no where to be seen. Smooth and velvety and good fruit. Tobacco and graphite nose. Well rounded mouthfeel and lovely taste. Ready to go if you have any left…..

March 10, 2023 - Still a huge wine with lots of dark fruit. With 19 years in the bottle, it is much more refined than it was in its youth. Fine with food.

October 2, 2022 - A remarkable wine', the CS (30%) keeps the wine quite tight in a kind of embracement and in there the Syrah lifts the wine with still fresh and concentrated fruit, a firm, ripe and smooth taste, lively, and a quite long aftertaste, even a bit hefty, as of everything comes together there.
