May 24, 2020 - Great developed pinot, earthy musky dark fruit, touch of cigar box, not over the hill but definitely at a maturity peak.

March 7, 2016 - Corked. Recent purchase from Acker Merrill.

December 1, 2015 - This bottle was on the edge...teetering on the edge...peering into the abyss! It felt like if I'd waited one more day to drink this it would have been gone. Maybe it was just this bottle judging by recent CT reviews. The cork broke while extracting it but there was no obvious seepage.
The color was a dark burgundy going to brown on the edges indicating its' age. The aftertaste was your typical "almost gone" essence. Two of us drank most of the bottle, but ultimately poured the last glass down the drain.
I wish I had been able to drink this bottle a few years ago because it leaves the impression that it was fantastic at one point. And this review reflects this specific bottle (your drinking experience may vary) which may not have been stored properly. I received it a few weeks ago from K&L out of a "Private Cellar". No knock on K&L as those folks do a great job, just an observation.
First time I've never given a score because it would be low and, most likely, not indicative of the true quality of this wine.
The main message here is, drink today as drinking it yesterday is no longer an option!

November 11, 2015 - Light crimson in color. 14.6% ABV. Gorgeous nose of cloves, sassafras, forest floor and red fruits. Light body with medium to strong acidity. Cherries, cranberries, baking spices and a unique hint of mint on the palate. The mint seemed to dissipate with time in the glass. Delicate and ethereal. Really special wine. Drink over the near term.

July 1, 2015 - 2001: A Wine Odyssey — Berserker Offline @ The Palace (The Palace Steakhouse, SF): Summary:
A correct New World Pinot with some complexity, elevated alcohol, and great purity of fruit.

    Score: Around 8.5

    Visual:
Clear, bright, medium-minus concentration ruby with no rim variation. No gas or sediment, moderate viscosity.

    Nose:
Excellently ripe warm red cherry tone, with very slight reductive character and faint barnyard aromas. There’s a very light oak influence that I picked up after some time. Maybe 10-20% new oak.

    Palate:
Medium bodied, with elevated alcohol (13.5? no - actually 14.6%, but holds it well). Savory, ripe red fruit, with a nice purity to it, as well as a slight burnt/reductive character. Acid is high, and tannins are diminished.
