October 2, 2022 - Although definitely aged, still showing well, dried abricots and marmelade, honey, honeysuckle, good acidity

December 25, 2012 - Very nice wine. Almost light and airy with great flavours which come through on the finish. Well balanced and fresh, paired well with cold seafood salad.

November 3, 2012 - La Commanderie de Bordeaux à Vancouver - Gala Dinner (Fairmont Pacific Rim): Smoky sauv blanc nose with aromas papaya, lemon with hints of toasty oak. Palate was quite similar in profile to the nose with papaya, lemon, smoke and toasty oak with great acidity and a fresh and tart citrus finish. Smooth texture with fresh and lively mouthfeel. This paired fantastically with the scallop course. Excellent.

November 3, 2012 - Commanderie de Bordeaux: Gala Dinner (Fairmont Pacific Rim - Vancouver, BC): Beautiful nose on this with a strong showing of that smokey gravel character often found in Graves, along with lots of fresh lemon, charred oak, crushed rocks, and bitter papaya seeds. Quiet tropical on the palate yet continuing on with the smokey character of the nose, now showing some passion fruit, more papaya, along with lemon oil, charred oak, and kiwi. Great crisp acidity accents the palate and brings a nice balance to this wine. Long length finish ending on notes of tart lemon juice and charred oak. Quite enjoyable, this was my first time trying this wine and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Very good.

October 7, 2010 - Aroma of tropical fruit, butter and nuts. Medium-high acidity, dry, medium body. Flavours of kiwi fruit, lime and almond. Good length, no alcohol burn - just very refreshing.
