February 20, 2024 - Popped, poured, consumed over two evenings. Continues to develop and cruise in the cellar. Incredible QPR.

February 15, 2024 - 1st of 3 bottles acquired in 2017. Drank over 3 nights - best on night 2 where bell pepper Cab Franc typcicity really showed. Medium red color with no sediment. On nose, leaf tobacco, tart cherry, strawberry and earth. Medium body, medium+ acidity, medium tannins and long finish- palate similar to nose and noticeable bell pepper (+) on night 2. 91-92 range.

February 1, 2024 - Decanted for sediment. A bit funky right out of the gate and slightly tight as well but after about 20-30 minutes in the decanter, the wine opened up nicely. Nose of black cherry, plum, pomegranate, some tobacco, a bit of herbal cough drop, mint and just a touch of pepper in the background. Similar flavors on the palate and the fruit really comes through loud and clear. Much more dark, slightly tangy fruit expected for a 14 year old wine. Medium+ acidity, medium- tannin. Moderate finish. Great value for the price. Plenty of road ahead.

    October 28, 2023 - Excellent
This continues to come together. Similar to my 2019 TN and I'm in agreement with MOTZ's recent TN.

Happy to have a few more to enjoy over the coming decade.

    12.5% abv

September 20, 2023 - This wine of the earth delivers at every phase.

Captivating expression of variety in place...upon pulling the cork...which increases in the glass. Seamless! Medium body, concentrated yet elegant, medium plus acid, gritty tannins, exceptional finish.

Holding form nicely and all indications suggest a long maturation curve. I would not hesitate to hold bottles for another seven to ten years. Improvement seems possible. Stupendous QPR! 93-94.
