August 3, 2023 - Beautiful bottle that tastes less than half its age. Restrained and refined. Reminds me of Tollot-Beaut.
July 16, 2021 - Lovely and elegant. By no means over the hill. Lovely subtle cherry, mushroom, and Soud boos. Wish I had more.
November 30, 2020 - This is just drinking beautifully right now. Very solid fruit, raspberry, with savory notes of wood and forest. Nice acid gives it all a good lift. Not sure this will get better but it has hit a plateau that may last for a while.
May 2, 2020 - This wine is settling into a nice place where the fruit has softened a bit from crunchiness to restrained generosity without going over the top and the tannin gives the wine enough dark notes to supply some bottom. Ready to drink but early in its prime.
March 14, 2020 - Much more advanced than the 2011 Costalina. The fruit was sagging a bit and tasted jammy.
April 12, 2019 - Last bottle. Seems the fruit was just a touch less than last bottle, with a bit more dusty tannins. Drink up.
November 29, 2018 - Popped and poured. Super light ruby color, very translucent. Nose was popping with bright red strawberry and cherry fruit, hints of orange peel, baking spices and floral notes. Aromas jumped from the glass. The silkiest pure red fruit on the palate with juicy acidity and a silky mouthfeel and finish. Very impresed with this and drinking fantastic right now. Wish I had more in the cellar.
October 20, 2018 - Last of 4 bottles sadly, but drinking really well, if still vibrant and youthful. Definite subtle positive development, but in no means near any decline. disappeared quickly.
May 25, 2018 - Raspberries, minerals, and easy drinking.
March 18, 2018 - Last bottle of this. Another nice bottle, and while not earth shattering, it's in a really good place. Nicely textured with deep red fruit and some savory notes. I don't think it will improve with further aging, but I imagine it will keep drinking nicely for a few years.
