August 27, 2023 - Still good, but drink now

May 16, 2023 - 2nd of 3. I really enjoyed this tonight. The fruit is very ripe, borderline overripe, but it works. The acidity and tannins are mellowed out nicely, but it isn't flabby for my palate. There is nice chocolate, licorice and hazelnut on the palate and nose, and somewhat plummy fruit. It's in a nice spot now, but I think it will go to 2030 or beyond.

November 4, 2022 - This wine was enjoyable. Had not tried a bottle in a year.. The nose was all fruit. The palate was dark berries, cherry, tobacco and a touch of mocha. The finish was of moderate length and smooth.

July 7, 2022 - Needs a minimum of an hour to start developing its richness and tannins. Nose is big with a tannic aroma married with a definite floral and violets note. Palate is chewy, earthy, dark fruitful. Big tannins on the backend -- clearly has a ways to go, still young.

November 18, 2021 - This wine was enjoyable. Opened two hours in advance and left to breathe. The nose was all fruit. The palate was dark berries, cherry, tobacco and a touch of chocolate. The finish was of moderate length and smooth.
