October 13, 2022 - Very good.
November 23, 2021 - Finally settling down into a mature phase. In the glass, rich, clear golden yellow. On the nose, lemons, toffee, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, leading with citrus, along with almost-burned sugar, oak, and a sprinkle of thyme, paired with a smooth, almost unctuous texture, which carries through the mid-palate before the unresolved tannins finally announce themselves on a long finish. None of our DuMOL chards usually survive long enough to reach this phase of evolution, but perhaps I should make a point of staying away from the last bottles a bit longer...
July 4, 2021 - Pretty bright yellow. Peaches and white flowers on the nose. Nicely blended and balanced, very well put together and went great with cold roasted chicken and goat cheese grits. Citrus finish. Yummy!
March 21, 2021 - Dynamite Chardonnay for an entry level non single vineyard wine. Great balance. Tropical fruits, lemon, crisp and clean, minimal oak and citrus finish
August 30, 2020 - Light lemon yellow. White flowers , fresh peach and pear nose. Lemon , citrus, wet stones and crisp apple. Terrific accompaniment to shrimp and pimento cheese grits. Exceptionally well made. Seems to be at its peak.
May 22, 2020 - Orchard fruits, butterscotch, nicely integrated oak. This is more Burgundian in style, and has developed nice secondary characteristics, yet still has enough acid to keep it going. I like where it's at, and likely will drink the rest of mine over the next 6-12 months.
November 26, 2019 - Rich and nice flavour. Drinking very well and Burgundian in style.
