April 1, 2018 - Not sure if we got lucky or if other reviewers got a bad bottle, but this was pretty good - pineapple, green apple, pear, slight mineral notes, some acidity, some sweetness but not as much as we were expecting for a late harvest, my wife got a hint of almond but I didn't, short finish; paired well with baked ham.

October 28, 2016 - Green citrus and herbs on the nose. On the palate, lime and herbs; high acid. Fairly austere, with fruit fading quite quickly under the acid. This seems a bit underripe, begs for some more sweetness and fruit ripeness, and certainly not at all the "late harvest" it is claimed to be.

Update: a little less than half of the bottle was forgotten for several weeks. This is drinking now like a fairly simple, herbal, green-fruited modern Spatlese. Not great, but not bad.
