February 27, 2021 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Eagle Brook CC): Double blind. Resembles K a bit in that there's some weedy notes but there's also something a bit sour at first. Currant and black fruit, this has a bit of a greenness to it as well.

Good but the vintage shows a bit here as the fruit didn't fully ripen. Decent, if you don't mind the fruit profile. (R&S)

January 30, 2021 - Cloudy, deep garnet with some rim browning. Tar, burnt toast, fig. Low acids, medium tannins. Black cherry. Short balanced finish.

October 31, 2018 - Good bottle of classic CA cab for a good price. For years, Whitehall has delivered a consistent, and well aging product. 2011 was a challenging year, and the adjacent years certainly earn a higher rating. Please see other comments which fairly represent the wine. To add - vegetale on opening, with fruits only emerging with time (overall better on day 2). A bit of lasting and sticky tannins, but nothing obnoxious, although may be better with food. Well structured, even if nothing outstanding. I believe that this will improve a bit, continuing to smooth out for a few more years. Enjoy...
