April 2, 2022 - Don't believe the nay-sayers from 2016. I'm from the future and say it was just fine in 2022. Perhaps showing a bit of age, but doubtless better than it was in 2016 or even 2017, when I last had it.
December 10, 2017 - ruby color, grape and black raspberry tapenade. Dark crayon volatility in the nose. Lush black fruit goes spicy on the palate. Medium to long aftertaste.
June 17, 2017 - Medium body berries nice finish
December 1, 2016 - 2016 is the last yr to drink AND MUST DECANT
November 2, 2016 - at PNP it was light on bouquet, flavor, and body, but what was there was very very pleasant---very much like a better cab. Perfect with the salmon we had. But the next day its was really really good. The blend seemed to comeout as very cabernet like. Great QPR. would buy again. (It does throw a lot of sediment for a fairly light wine--no problem but be careful.)
March 26, 2015 - Drinking very nicely. Soft, light, fruit balanced nicely across the palate. FInished well. Great for $13.
February 15, 2015 - Spicy, fruity and sweet on the palate. But this was the 4th bottle of the evening with a group, I'll have to re-taste at later date.
December 29, 2014 - Really solid all around, and a steal at this price. Not overly complex, but the ripe blackberry and blackcurrant fruit complements the slight vanilla, spice and tobacco on the palate. There's a whiff of oaky earth on the nose. It's smooth, well-balanced and easy quaffing. This is a great mid-week or house wine when you're in the mood for something delicious yet affordable. We'll definitely buy more. Last tasting on 10.28.15, and this is still drinking like a champ.
December 25, 2014 - Had this at Mark and Erica's Christmas Day dinner. Everyone loved it! Red fruit, spice and tannin, very drinkable with filet mignon and crab cakes. Great value from WTSO! Would buy again.
November 20, 2014 - Sound structure and balance in a drinkable medium-weight red; ripe fruit, but restrained
