  March 5, 2017 - Very nice! Well balanced, nice dark fruit flavors, mild tannins. Did not finish the first night and it drank as well the second night as the first.

  June 20, 2016 - A surprisingly (and wonderfully) complex wine whose tertiary characteristics belie both its relatively recent vintage and its price point. My immediate though upon tasting was...2013? Really?? The primary black fruit, herbs, and spices were there, certainly, but I found a wealth of earth, game, and mushroom notes creating a welcomed level of depth. The tannins and acid were right on point to provide structure yet keep things refreshing and sip (gulp) worthy. The wine actually comes from a single vineyard (Remolinos vineyard, located south of Mendoza) and the producer has made a point of ensuring that the varietal and terroir (if you will) play an instrumental role in the wine. Like the wine, I find that pretty darn refreshing. I think this bottle is a steal!!

  February 28, 2016 - Plum, cherry, subdued vanilla, and even some licorice; slightly hot with a smooth finish. Sediment throughout the bottle, surprisingly enough. I was quite satisfied with this for $16/bottle from a local store.
