July 7, 2023 - This bottle was in great shape. In a nice window and was classic CA Pinot.

August 29, 2022 - Saw the same brickish color as previous reviewers. This is still in excellent condition, but I would assess that it's in late middle age and plan to drink my remaining bottles over the next year.

July 24, 2021 - This was in great shape. Similar comments regarding the colour as last time, but no signs of oxidation at all. In a delicious spot with plenty of earthy notes to complement the fruit.

    October 22, 2020 - Lean and lite
    Fairly one dimensional
Although, it’s decent cheap Pinot for everyday drinking from Marin
If I remember correctly, not crazy high alcohol
    I think 12.7%…

April 22, 2020 - Color is surprisingly brickish for its 7 years, but neither the nose nor palate show any oxidative or tired character. Quite the opposite, this is lively as all get out with redcurrant and underripe blackberry and raspberry for days, but with some lovely mushroom, bay, and cinnamon notes to bring it down to Earth. On the palate this is searingly acidic on opening but calms down somewhat after half an hour - still, this high-acid style demands food. A touch astringent on the finish, but not unpleasantly (Annora disagrees). This is a low-medium-weight Pinot that will not satisfy lovers of fruit bombs. However, it meets my two criteria for a really good dinner wine: it is delicious and it is refreshing. I cannot believe I picked this up on sale for $10, for which it is a stupidly good deal. 13.5%
