August 26, 2015 - A nose of citrus and spice and some butter, medium golden in color. A medium to full bodied white, with citrus, pineapple, butter notes, a bit fake but not terrible. www.winelx.com

August 20, 2015 - Aromas of butterscotch, spice and pear. Rich and buttery, not much fruit to speak of. Oaky finish. The only redeeming feature is a lively acidity.

August 10, 2015 - StraightnoChaser's note is spot on. Not bad.

August 10, 2015 - Butter is a very well-balanced chardonnay. Although it is unmistakably a purebred chardonnay full of oak, vanilla and cream, it is not as thick as one might suggest. Slightly more balance versus similarly-priced Mer Soleil Reserve (which I find equally thick and smooth, but heavier than Butter), Butter finds a happy medium of creamy lemon to compliment the toasty oak characteristics.

No zesty citrus to this one, but I definitely will be buying this one again.

July 25, 2015 - Low expectations at this price point. A decent wine that seems heavy and manipulated to me but not offensive. Slightly oily mouthfeel with tropical fruit and a bit too much sugar for my tastes. A "Poor Man's" Rombauer.
