    May 5, 2022 - As before...

April 2, 2022 - Absolutely delicious! Fruit maybe starting to fade, but this wine is smooth, well integrated and nicely balanced with fantastic varietal features. Better than at any of our previous four openings, probably at its peak (?).
Time to drink up, I think...
We have one bottle of the six left, and won't be waiting too long to open it.

April 27, 2020 - Drinking better than the last time (a year ago).

November 28, 2019 - Thanksgiving dinner for 20. Only breathed for an hour before we started. At first it was a little tight but still delicious. Great fruit but a little on the tannic side. After a couple of hours (we drank 4 bottles of champagne too!) it softened nicely and the flavors rounded out. Very nice wine. 3 left.

Washington Wine Report

  • By Sean Sullivan
    12/5/2013 (link) **** points

(Corliss Estates Syrah Columbia Valley) Somewhat stylistically distinct from previous vintages with the Viognier really popping at present with orange peel, peach, and floral notes followed by showy dark fruit. The palate is silky and rich with a velvety texture on this opulent, expressive wine. Aged 30 months in French oak (60% new). 308 cases produced.
