August 16, 2021 - Got this for my son's 21st bday dinner from Wine Bid. It has aged beautifully. An excellent wine.
October 25, 2020 - After 20 years it is still nice. Color was good - very slight brown on the edge, the body was a little light and it was perfectly clear. Paired with Surf and turf it was nice - good berry flavors start to end, no real oak or vanilla like when it was young. Mouth feel was nice - easy drinking, smooth, no tannins.
April 17, 2020 - Didn’t expect much. Blew me away. Glad I have a few more bottles.
January 21, 2018 - Wine in excellent condition, and has lost both fruit and tannins over the years. So, it is just nice, refined, but relatively nondescript fruit juice.
November 3, 2017 - Black currents and black raspberries, tobacco with rich mouth-feel dominate this structured older classic cab. Minerals and soft tannins, despite slightly acrid aftertaste. Slightly tart nose, medium finish.
April 21, 2017 - Tannins very soft and no longer balance other notes. Better after a few hours air that reduced some harsh notes. Past its prime.
January 27, 2017 - Nice, older wine, but getting tired.
October 12, 2016 - Good soft tannins with medium acidity. Notes are blackberry and black currant. Great food wine.
June 30, 2016 - Reticent fruit and somewhat lighter bodied, tannins on the dry side. No resemblance to the 99 or 98 in it's flight.
March 18, 2016 - Rich with soft tannins. Nice structure but not too much. Some fruit left - chocolate and raspberry.
