  May 17, 2023 - medium Garnet. On the nose there are aromas of leather, wet earth, tar, toast, cedar, black cherry, dried cherries, cinnamon. On the palate the wine is dry, medium + acid and fine ripe tannins (so smooth), medium + body. The flavor intensity on the nose and palate is medium plus and flavors on the palate match the nose. Finish is medium + with dried fruit and leather. The wine is fully developed with tertiary aromas, secondary aromas but little fresh fruit. Would drink now. It might be just a tad past peak, but was more enjoyable the second night - so let it breathe a bit.

  May 14, 2023 - Approaching the end of its drinking cycle but still nice to drink. Dark fruits, acidity still present, tannins well integrated now. Not overly complex.

  March 25, 2023 - Bu au resto AVV Bistro la Fringale de Granby
  avec l'ami Mario pour accompagner le magret de canard
  sauce aux bleuets!
  Super soyeux et gouleyant.
  Sur les cerises griottes, le poivre, les herbes
  et un peu de menthol.
  Les tannins sont fins et la finale
  assez longue sans accroc.
  Excellent, la meilleure jusqu'ici!

  November 26, 2022 - Riper than expected but lots of fresh acidity. Deep colour, lots of time left here.

  November 20, 2022 - First time tasting an aged Guidalberto. Light ruby in color. Good nose but refined and less expansive than a young Guidalberto. Interesting, can still taste the tannin. Slightly acidic in a good way.
