December 11, 2021 - Delicious single varietal from Pahlmeyer! Smooth fruit with earthy undertones. A real treat to find Petite Verdot from Napa done so well

June 18, 2019 - Decanted about 30 minutes and vigorously swirled in the decanter to help ease the initial acidic edges. Suggest a two hour decant at this stage. This Petite Verdot is absolutely stunning and I only wish more vintners focused some of the efforts on the varietal other than using it as a blending grape. Complex and elegant with firm tannins for an incredibly lengthy and savory finish.

November 9, 2017 - This is well made. Really enjoyable on the second day. A single varietal that I don't have a lot of depth to compare to, however, it has a lot of the structural attributes that I like in a good cab or Bordeaux.

October 2, 2017 - Surprisingly aromatics...dark fruits with flowers mixed in. Really nice and round on the palate. The tannins were a little strong, but did not take away from the overall experience.

October 30, 2016 - I did not know what to expect but this blew me away. Very fruity, great texture and mouthfeel. Dark fruits and quite silky. Very enjoyable

October 29, 2016 - Popped and poured and this is not ready yet in my opinion. I will leave for awhile and ensure a few hours minimum decant next time. Dark brooding and not fully integrated?
