May 8, 2021 - Nothing stands out. Soft white flower and stone fruit nose with a very slight unctuous feel. I think the fruit is waning but hard to say as I haven’t had any of this vintage at an earlier dating.

July 23, 2018 - Wine Dojo - Week 19 - The Grand Tour: Northern Italy (Elliot's Place): Tasted Blind

A: Medium gold. Medium (-) tears
N: Beeswax, honey, orange marmalade, grapefruit pith, WET STONE, everyone got SALT on the nose but i got that on the palate. The fruit is tart. leave it for an hour and mad amounts of kerosene are apparent as is fennel.Medium (+) intensity, fully developed.
P: Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium body, medium (+) intensity, medium (-) alcohol ,medium to medium (+) finish, little bitterness.
C: Drink now. BLIC? ticks everywhere. Well, half a tick for length. This is a very good quality wine. Am rather impressed. This is a different world to that of the rather bland neutral young Soaves that i have had in the past.

February 25, 2018 - Nose is rich with candied lemon rind, lemon mousse and chalky minerality. The mouthfeel of this five year old white wine is astonishing. The texture is like melted butter! The fruit is fresh and crisp on the attack with high acidity. The oak is noticeable, but not overpowering. The palate follows the nose closely, but adds more complexity with green apple, pear and floral elderberry. The lemon mousse on the palate is gorgeous! The attack moves on to a slightly bitter, chalky mid-palate of key lime and a fruity finish that lasts forever. The few years of bottle age significantly improved the mouthfeel of this wine.

August 6, 2016 - Much like the 2012. A little austere when cold (from refrigerator), but as it warms up it blossoms with citrus, stone fruit, apple, melon, floral, herbs, almond. Crisp acidity, medium finish. Refreshing.
