February 27, 2016 - HUGE difference between this and the 2012. Nowhere near as powerful. I see why Parker gave this an 86 and the '12 a 99. Good thing it was $25 cheaper. Also a good thing that I have two more twelves in my Eurocave.

Brooding, Asian spice, anise, soy. Dark rocks. Less mid palate than the Cloud's or Beckstoffer.
Great acidity and tannins that still need to come together. So much potential. Awesome first sample for my palate from this vineyard.
