December 11, 2016 - Tasting great right out the bottle, matched well with sautéed beef and potato latkes. This is a great wine with food.

November 10, 2014 - Opened and decanted Saturday for dinner Saturday night. After decant, still had explosive palate - dark berries, leather/jerky, and a hint of metal - typical of mourvedre. Dark in the glass, with minimal sediment; medium viscosity. On day 2, palate hadmellowed slightly - less fruit forward and more integrated (metallic hints gone). Preferred day 2 wine. While I enjoyed this bottle, will cellar others a bit longer.
