August 4, 2023 - Slightly improved and much more developed than the bottle enjoyed 5+ years ago. Definitely didn’t notice the slightly hollow mid palate, noted in the prior bottle. Drinking well currently but, 2011 wasn’t a great vintage in either California or Washington. This bottle isn’t in jeopardy of dying short term, but I do detect the structure is well integrated, slightly soft at this juncture. Black fruits still strong; finish is medium. Ripe black fruits worked well with the beef Bulgogi. Drink by mid 2024.

April 1, 2023 - Consistent with previous notes, this bottle had lively fruit, decent acidity, and some subtle secondaries. Paired nicely with a lamb meat sauce and pasta. The structure here has resolved almost completely, and this is much softer than a few years ago. Need to drink my remaining bottle soon before it falls apart.

March 10, 2023 - Thankfully my final one, as this was really falling apart at this point. Should have known... the writing was on the wall with my penultimate bottle one year ago.
