December 13, 2023 - Surprisingly enjoyable. Leather, meat with cranberry notes developing on the second day.
The austerity and bitter green pepper notes that these had a few years ago seem to have faded with age. My last bottle and far better than those drunk earlier.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 17, 2023 - Some capsicum and sweet meats on the nose. Palate is youthful, dark fruited and brooding. There is pepperiness to the palate and tannins that have a way to go. Not falling apart or in last chance saloon as reported in some quarters. Usually would attack claret of this stature at c. 20 years but given the vintage I will continue to check in on this but absolutely no need to panic drink.

October 15, 2023 - 30 min of air, then poured. Light but classy and nose with lots of presence. Palate very pleasant, if a shade rustic. Not grand but this is enjoyable.
