September 30, 2020 - Quite an intellectual wine. All about balance. Totally unique in flavour. Starting mostly with luxurious bitter notes - citrus/grapefruit/orange peel. The bitterness fades slightly but an alcoholic feel remains, like a cocktail spirit (Aperol, Campari). Definitely one of a kind, like no other Rose Champagne I have drunk before. Serious wine for food pairing that needs to be carefully curated. I could definitely see this with Crepes Suzettes.

June 2, 2019 - Slightly leaner version of this wine, but still so expressive. Nothing else like this.

February 22, 2019 - 22 Top Flight Champagne's for E&R's 20th Anniversary (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Smells like sulfur and fireworks, and perhaps a bit poopy. Very strong aromas. Soft and bitter palate attack, with rich, tart fruit. Despite all that, the palate comes across as fairly elegant, soft and pretty. Bitter, strong attack on the finish, with elegant fruit and a lovely impression in its length. Nice and elegant.

July 28, 2016 - BYO Blind Tasting: Blind. Rosé. A bit muted, but a hint of mature strawberries, big mousse, pronounced bitterness from the middle of the taste curve, long, intense. Seems very young. No idea what this was. Well not exactly what you drink often, with a production of only 370-500 bottles a year.

May 22, 2015 - Orange tinged pink color. Initially the nose was quiet restrained with time in glass floral and herb elements emerged. Took about a hour in the glass to really begin to shine with berries and dried herbs. An enjoyable wine, but I question the QPR here.
