Un nez charmeur de pêche mûre, d'abricot. Une petite merveille alliant fraicheur et l’opulence d'un fruit gourmand, avec une précision et une finesse remarquables. Encore jeune, mais absolument délicieux et encore meilleur le lendemain. 95 pts
February 10, 2024 - Open that Bottle Night (Prior Lake, MN): Very nice with apricots, honey, minerals, tangerines and floral notes. Nice acidity and drinking really well.

November 4, 2023 - 25th Annual Lyon 10 Year Retrospective (Lyon Down Inn): What a great finish! Both to the wine and the tasting! Orange marmalade, dried apricot, honey, tropical fruits, and caramelized nuts are poised like a jockey on the galloping acidity. Now-2040+.
October 21, 2023 - Light gold color. Medium sweet raisin-like attack. Good acid balance. Long finish. Will easily age another 10 years. Can drink now, though will develop additional complexity. Good Barsac character.
August 10, 2023 - Pure gold colour. Barely sugar, candied pineapple, warm spice, dried apricot and a touch of lanolin on the nose. Unctuous texture, sappy / sweet, nice acidic streak and an ethereal finish. Similar flavour profile as the nose, lots of candied and dried yellow fruits, barley sugar, botrytis spice, round and oily texture, and a bit of astringency on the finish. Enters rich and sweet; finishes light and crisp. Long finish. Very nice!
January 8, 2023 - I'm definitely not a great Sauternes or Barsac fan, but this one I really appreciated.
The bouquet is not overwhelming with some spring flowers, grapefruit and orange blossoms.
The palate ist quite ethereal but long at the same time and not overly sweet.
December 24, 2022 - It still has distinct influence of barrique (coconut, vanilla). We can feel some apricot and honey on a background. HIgh sharp sweetness with medium acidity. It needs a time to develop.
September 25, 2022 - Bottle 2 of 6, and 6 yrs since last bottle. Still very young and fresh, and still very lovely. High wow-factor with some very high-pitched and pure aromatics of quince and grapefruit on the nose paired with a sizzling acidity. I like this level of maturity and will drink remaining bottles rather sooner than later. (92-94 points)
February 11, 2022 - Un beau nez d’agrumes et d’abricot. En bouche, le vin est dense et se livre peu, c’est sans doute trop jeune. Finale alcooleuse plutôt décevante. À revoir.
