April 6, 2024 - PnP but allowed some time in the glass. Drank alongside '12 Dakota Shy Moulds vineyard. This wine showed much brighter fruit...along the red/blue spectrum as opposed to the Dakota Shy which was blue/black. The Hourglass was an enjoyable medium-to-full bodied wine.

January 21, 2024 - Purchased Spectrum Auction $61, 8 btls. Second PNP bottle, this time aerated half bottle into decanter. will save second half with gas and check it out tomorrow. Black young fruit exists, with very good balance. Fruit upfront, bold mid palate with a bit of sweetness, the finish has good complexity with medium finish length. Decant for air, or should age nicely another year or two.

December 14, 2022 - Wine has improved with age. Complexity is there with some slow ox. Nice purple fruit, some secondary terroir coming through as graphite, black wet stone and earthy shiitake. Enjoyed.

January 24, 2022 - Pop and pour. Fruit-forward, ripe Cab drinking well now. Great for people who like the style although I've moved toward more savory wines in my old age.

January 11, 2022 - PNP- Muted compared to the CF at this point in time. Hard for me not to compare the CS to the CF which is lights out good right now.
I don't think it's peaked but I don't think it's going to get a whole lot better.
