January 1, 2023 - This is just delicious. Classic, elegant, mature cassis fruit. Regal, tobacco. Lovely finish. Very expressive. Sophisticated. A great way to ring in 2023. (93)

August 27, 2022 - A little funk at the beginning, I should have decanted. All blown off in a half hour, classic mature PL

After being open for 3 hours, began to slide, so just decant a half hour before, assuming you’ll finish it in2.5 hours

June 10, 2022 - Smooth as silk and quite full and really showing off the grace and silkiness of this terroir. In the end it didn’t possess the complexity of the top vintages but a delicious wine nonetheless. 91

January 2, 2022 - New Years with the Ks and Browns: This is a bottle released ex-chateau in 2021; re-bottled and re-corked. The color is a deeper red than prior bottle; the nose has lovely dark fruit just leaning towards dried, floral, green tobacco, a hint of pyrazines, cedar and graphite. The long finish is in lovely harmony; this was clearly better and at another level than prior bottle which was released originally.
