April 4, 2021 - This is a very beautiful wine—soft and elegant. Full bodied, well integrated tannins that are fine and soft. Red and black fruits but more of the tertiary aromas and flavors. The fruit is not as fresh as I recall from a few years ago. Very enjoyable. Served with roasted rack of lamb, carrots, and asparagus.

December 11, 2020 - Much better than we expected it to be.

September 25, 2020 - Not a great vintage for Napa but a good wine from a classic producer. Drank from a half bottle. This has slightly muted fruit notes but it is stills a very typical, classic Napa Cab. Definitely complex on the nose. Dark fruit notes, mainly blackberry, as well as hints of spice. It also has some subtle herbaceous notes that I think will grow as it ages. Overall, an interesting wine, I am holding one more and I’m interested to see how it ages.
