May 29, 2019 - Great Bordeaux nose! On palate overcompensates to surprisingly vibrant strawberry and cherry. Good acid and also tannins. Doesn't drink like a 52 yr old!
Story is winey has changed ownership several times since 1967. A barrel of this was found with old bottles. Bottles were cleaned up and filled. Then new corks were installed. There was no encroachment of wine up the cork supporting this.

May 20, 2019 - This bottle was a very cool experience. I’ve never had anything like it. There was a hint of vinegar on the nose but the wine wasn’t off. It had some very unique flavors and a little acidity. Glad I got two.

May 15, 2019 - OWC, and doesn't appear to have been recorked, allegedly directly from the estate. This experience was different than the previous bottle. A well preserved St.-Emilion that defies its 50+ years in the bottle. Fleshy plum and red fruits, vanilla, toast, underbrush and smoke. Just a faint hint of the butterscotch that dominated the last bottle. Decently viscous with resolved tannins. Unfortunately, this batch may have been different from the previous one.

    April 26, 2019 - Ah, yes.

Nose is pure butterscotch and/or caramel, possibly vanilla bean. Perfumed with a bit of underbrush. On the palate, plums, red currants, raspberries and vanilla. Very bright and long. Still some grip. Nice warmth.

February 9, 2019 - This is an incredible experience, a close family member just eased the (broken) cork out of this bottle. Expecting crap, is a revelation.

High acid, full fruit, very soft tannins. Ruby red, slight brick around the edge, tasting real good and does not seem to be deteriorating.

    All this at 11.5% !!

Hour and a half later, still giving pleasure. Still highly aeromatic, pumping out of the glass. Flavors linger, like five minutes between sips. Quite an experience, blessed.
