January 4, 2021 - Kalkunvin. Fortsatt saftig og lettdrikkelig vin. Gode aromaer og bra syrlighet. Blir mer "mørk" med luft, frukten drar mot kirsebær og skogbunnen merkes. Litt spice i finish. Godt kjøp i sin tid.

December 1, 2018 - Burgs, Rhones, Piedmont, and Krug: Blackberry and plummy dark fruit with a touch of spice, nimble but concentrated with lively acidity, an excellent and elegant example of “deep end” Anderson Valley Pinot Noir.

April 12, 2018 - Pretty disappointing showing as the fruit is surprising roasted and heavy. Not optimistic on my remaining two bottles and very out of character for LIOCO.

January 10, 2018 - Still a wonderful wine from one of the best vineyards in the Anderson Valley. I think it's aging a little ungracefully - the secondary characteristics aren't balancing out the loss in unctuousness. This Pinot is/was one of the least stemmy of this period of Lioco (a good thing), and though it's coming across a little thin now, with an acidic bent, it still captures the best of the region - very much California, leavened by a certain kind of medium darkness to the fruit, some earth. Best to drink in the next year or two.

November 30, 2017 - Very good and classic Anderson Valley pinot with crunchy red fruit that is closer to raspberry than cherry, with nice spice and herbal complements. Fruit is forward and moderately concentrated with plenty of zesty acidity. Young, and youthful. Good now, some upside too, I think.
